F2WP · Figma, image or URL to WordPress · our own product
It rebuilds the design. You still finish the site.
Give it a Figma link, a screenshot, or the address of a page you like. F2WP returns WordPress sections you can edit, in a file you install on your own site. What that saves you is the laying out. What it does not save you is the judgement.
This is software you run yourself, not a service we deliver. The first link goes to the product rather than to a form, because the fastest way to judge a rebuild is to give it something of yours and look at what comes back.
- What it takes
- A Figma link, an image, or a live URL
- What it returns
- Editable WordPress sections, as a file
- Where it runs
- Your WordPress, on your own hosting
- Page builder
- Works with Elementor, and without one
- How close it gets
- Around 90%, on its own numbers
No user count, no signup figure, no rating and no customer quote anywhere on this page. What is missing, and why, is written out below.
The part that matters
What arrives is a file on your site, not a page on ours.
Most things that turn a design into a website keep the website. This one hands it over.
The same generated section is delivered three ways, so the decision about which page builder your site runs is made after the section exists instead of before it. That is also why a WordPress install with nothing installed on it is a supported case here rather than the awkward one.
What you receive
Where it lands
Why it is that way
A Gutenberg block
Any WordPress
Nothing extra to install. The sections turn up in the editor the site already has.
A shortcode
Anywhere in WordPress
For a theme with no block editor, a widget area, or a template that predates all of this.
A native Elementor widget
If Elementor is installed
The same section, generated once, appearing as a real widget rather than an embed.
A .zip you install yourself
Your host
The output is a file that lives on your WordPress, not a page served from ours.
Your name on the plugin
Your brand
White-labelling is part of the product rather than a paid extra on top of it.
Which sets the meter where it belongs
Generating costs a credit. Changing what it generated does not.
The hours you lose laying a design out by hand.
Every job below runs today, on the product you can open in the link above.
12
things it does
8 things it does not
The second list is the more useful one and it is directly below this. A page that describes only the first half of a tool is a page you have to test before you can trust, which costs you the afternoon this was supposed to save.
Reading the design
01
Input
Three ways in, and only one of them needs Figma
A Figma link, a screenshot or an exported image, or the address of a page that is already live. There is no Figma add-on to install for the first of those, which matters if the design was handed to you as a PNG.
02
Sections
It splits the page instead of flattening it
A live page is read from header to footer and broken into sections. You can take the whole thing or pick the two you actually wanted, which is usually what happens when the reference is somebody else’s homepage.
03
Vision
A screenshot has no layers, so it looks at the picture
Figma input has structure to read and a live URL has markup to read. An image has neither, so the boundaries between sections are inferred from what is visible. It is the loosest of the three inputs and it is also the one people have.
04
Style
Colour, type and spacing come from the source
From a Figma file it reads the values that were set. From an image or a URL it reads what can be seen. Either way the result is real CSS in a real section, not a positioned screenshot.
What comes out
05
Widgets
Sliders, tabs and accordions arrive working
The interactive components it recognises are rebuilt as functioning widgets rather than as pictures of widgets. That is the difference between a page you can hand to a client and a page you have to explain.
06
Formats
One generation, three ways to place it
Gutenberg block, shortcode, and Elementor widget, from the same run. Which one you use is a decision about the site, taken after the section exists rather than before.
07
Editing
Text, images and colours change from a panel
The ordinary changes — a headline, a photograph, a brand colour — are made without opening the code. That is the part a client can be left alone with.
08
Layout
Responsive from the start, not retrofitted
The sections are produced mobile-first, which is the only order that works when the design you were given only exists at one width.
09
Delivery
Publish through the connector, or take the file
A free connector plugin puts the sections onto the site in one step. If you would rather not install anything of ours, download the .zip and add it by hand.
Around the edges
10
Preview
You watch it build
The rebuild appears as it happens rather than arriving as a finished file, so a run that has misread the design can be abandoned early instead of after.
11
Scope
Full page, or the sections you name
Rebuilding an entire page you only wanted one band from is the kind of waste that makes a credit-metered tool annoying. It does not make you do that.
12
Credits
Generating is metered. Editing is not
A credit is spent when it generates. Changing colours, fonts and text afterwards is not metered, which is the right way round for work that gets revised.
Written down rather than left out
Eight things this does not do.
Some of these are gaps that will close. Most of them are the shape of the problem and will not.
A design is a picture of a website, and a picture leaves things out that no amount of engineering can read back in. Knowing which half of this list is temporary is most of what you need before you decide whether the tool fits your work.
01
Hand you a pixel-exact copy
The product’s own answer is that it rebuilds to around 90% and you adjust from there, and that is the number to plan against. A design file and a browser do not agree about how type renders, and a screenshot carries no measurements at all. Treat the output as the layout done, not the design signed off.
02
Know anything the design does not show
A picture cannot say where a form sends, what happens after somebody logs in, or which products belong in that grid. Everything with a server behind it is still yours to wire up, and no tool that reads a design can be the one that does it.
03
Build a site, as opposed to a page
It rebuilds what you point it at. A menu that knows your real URLs, the pages sitting behind that menu, and the links between them are not present in one design and do not come out of one.
04
Give you the right to the page you pointed it at
URL input will rebuild somebody else’s page as willingly as your own. The tool does not check whose it is, and running it does not move the responsibility for that anywhere. Worth saying plainly on the page rather than in terms nobody opens.
05
Host anything
There is no site to move onto. You need a WordPress install and somewhere to run it, and the output goes there. If that install does not exist yet, this is not the step you are on.
06
Write the words
Whatever the design carried is what comes through. If it carried placeholder copy, so does the rebuild, and the rebuild will look finished while saying nothing.
07
Do the search or the performance work
A rebuilt layout is not an optimised page. Titles, descriptions, structured data, image weight and Core Web Vitals are all still open after it runs. It does not claim to do any of them, and we are not going to imply it does.
08
Come with a published record of use
There is no install count on this page, no rating, no customer story and no number of any kind, because there is not one that anybody outside this studio has checked. That is the same standard the rest of our software is presented to, and it is the reason the rest of this page is worth reading.
That list will be edited here when any of it stops being true, rather than quietly becoming false somewhere else.

read off the product’s own pricing section on 21 August 2026
A credit is spent when it generates. Editing colours, fonts and text afterwards is not metered, which is the right way round for work that gets revised twice before anybody is happy with it.
Prices move, and the figures above are a reading rather than a contract. The product’s own pricing is the one that governs, and it is one click away for exactly that reason.
What this page does not claim.
There is no user count here, no signup figure, no conversion rate, no revenue, no rating and no customer quote.
Nobody independent has audited a number from this product, and each of those figures is one we would also get to choose the sample for. Figures and quotes that appear on the product’s own marketing are not repeated here, because this page carries only what we can show you the instrument for. The blank space where a logo strip usually goes is the accurate version.
What is here instead is what the software does, what it will not do, and a price that is published somewhere you can go and read it. The rest of the software this studio runs is presented to the same standard, and Autopilot publishes its own list of what it cannot do for the same reason this one does.
When there is a figure with an instrument behind it, it will appear here with the date it was read, the way the two case studies we can evidence already do.
The questions that decide whether this is for you.
Is this a Shopify product?
No. F2WP is WordPress software and has no Shopify surface at all. It is listed with the rest of our apps because that page is the record of software this studio designed, built and runs, and leaving a product off its own parent page is how a site ends up publishing a count that does not survive being checked. If you are on Shopify and want a design turned into store sections, Fig2Shop is the one that does that, and it is a different product.
Do I need Figma?
No, and that is the main practical difference between this and the tools it sits next to. A screenshot works, and so does the address of a page that is already live. The Figma route reads more of the design because there is more in a Figma file to read, but it is one of three ways in rather than the only one.
Do I need Elementor?
No. The same generated section arrives as a Gutenberg block, a shortcode and an Elementor widget, so a site with no page builder installed is a supported case rather than a workaround. If Elementor is already there, the sections turn up in it natively.
How close does the rebuild actually get?
The product publishes around 90% and then a few minutes of adjustment, and that is the honest expectation to hold. What you are buying back is the hours of laying a design out by hand, not the judgement about whether it is right. If your work is the kind where the last five percent is the whole job, budget for that five percent, because the tool does not remove it.
Can I point it at a competitor’s website?
It will run. Whether you may then publish the result is a question about their rights, not about the software, and the software does not answer it for you or warn you. Pointing it at a page to understand how a layout is put together is a different act from shipping that layout under your own name, and only one of those is safe.
Why is there no customer story on this page?
Because there is not one we can evidence. Any figure we put here would be one we also chose the sample for, and nobody independent has audited a number from this product. Figures and quotes that appear on the product’s own marketing are not repeated here for the same reason. When there is something with an instrument behind it, it will appear here with the date it was read.
Do you build WordPress sites?
Mostly no, and it is fairer to say so now than after a call. This studio builds headless Shopify storefronts, and the WordPress work we are usually asked about is a move off WooCommerce onto Shopify rather than a new WordPress build. F2WP is software we built and run; it is not a services line, and hiring us to construct your WordPress site is a different question with a different answer.
Tell us what you are rebuilding by hand, and how often.
We will say whether this removes it, whether one of the other things we run removes it, or whether it is the kind of job software should not be given.
The free tier is one generation, so the answer to “does it read my design properly” costs nothing to find out and is better than anything we could tell you about it.
What we ask you first
01
What the design arrives as today
02
Where the rebuilt page has to live
03
Whether a page builder is already in play
04
How much of the last mile you want to keep
F2WP sits alongside Autopilot and LineDrop on the full list of what this studio builds and runs. If the design you are holding is meant to become a Shopify store rather than a WordPress site, Fig2Shop is the one built for that.
